CLEMENTE Top Tube Protectors (a.k.a. Guards)

Day in and day out, you may be exposing your frame to more unnecessary damage than you thought by just simply moving it from your car to the track.  An unrestrained handlebar will swing around and chip the paint on your top tube or even worse put a dent in it. As a frame builder, I have introduced a Top Tube protector designed to address this source of damage to a frame.

I employed the benefits of the characteristics of leather; elegant, abrasive resistant, light and flexible. Individually and collectively, the characteristics of leather offer an effective way to deal with the TT handle bar damage.

Why do we need a TT Guard?
Maybe you've seen old pictures from bygone years where the riders of the time used black electrical tape, used wooden soled shoes that absorbed sweat and weighed twice as much at the end of the track event than at the beginning? These track riders were real men and didn't use leather movable TT guards so why do you?
